Meet New Gibbs President & CEO, Greg Risch

Greg Risch was recently appointed as President and CEO of Gibbs Die Casting Corporation. If you think you recognize Greg, you may be right. As a Tri-State native, long time Henderson resident, and tireless community leader, he is a pillar in both business and the community.

Growing up in nearby Owensboro, Greg attended Kentucky Wesleyan College on a full academic scholarship. He played football for the first two years then decided to focus more of his time on academics, completing his B.A. in Accounting while also interning at a bank. He continues to be an active supporter of the school and was recognized as Alumnus of the Year in 2018.

The bulk of Greg’s career has been with Accuride Corporation in various finance (21 years) and President roles (4.5 years). Most recently, Greg served as the President of Accuride Americas where he led their $600M dollar business with 1,500 team members across three countries. He has also served on many local Boards including Field & Main Bank, Methodist Health, Kentucky Wesleyan College, and Southwest Indiana Chamber of Commerce.

On the home front, leading Team Risch are Greg and his wife, Jamie, who have five children, two grandchildren, and two well-loved dogs. Greg’s priorities are his faith, his family, and his community. In his personal time, he enjoys traveling, golfing, exercising, and just plain having fun. He’s also an avid reader and finishes at least one book every month.

Greg is excited to be a part of the Gibbs and the KEI family. Mirroring our H3 Lean Philosophy, he describes his personal leadership philosophy as, “I will choose the harder right over the easier wrong. I will be honest and respectful to everyone…always.”

Please reach out with a warm welcome to Greg!
