Congratulations to the Koch Foundation 2024 Scholars!

Joseph Flesburg (Robert L. Koch Award), son of Lori and John Flesburg who both work at Koch Finishing Systems in Evansville, is graduating as a Valedictorian from Boonville High School. At BHS, Joseph was on the academic Super Bowl team, Varsity Swim team and National Honor Society. He also achieved Eagle Scout Rank in Boy Scouts of America. Joseph plans to attend the University of Southern Indiana and major in Engineering.

Lillian Ellis (Mary L. Koch Award), daughter of Gerd Ellis who works at Koch Air in Evansville, is graduating from Signature School. During her time at Signature, Lillian was in the National Honors Society, All Region Honors Choir and a Kiwanis Arion Award recipient. She was in leadership roles for the Thespian Society, Art Honor Society, and Choir. In her spare time she volunteered at WNIN Radio. Lillian will attend Purdue University and major in Biology.

Jeffrey Sandefur (Louis J. Koch Award), son of Ronald Sandefur who works at Brake Supply, is graduating from Signature School. Jeffrey has been involved in various service capacities including being a ZooTeen at Mesker Park Zoo and Life Scout in Boys Scouts of America. In addition to being a member of the National Honor Society, Jeffrey received the David L. Rice Scholarship at USI where he plans to engage in Exploratory Studies the first semester.
